We got up early, put on our running gear and went out and ran across all 8 bridges in downtown Prague.

After Our Run
We got a Scottish breakfast, returned to our hostel, czeched out then went and toured the Museum of Communism. The museum documents the Soviet control of Czech politics from the '40s through the late '80s. They made some really funny postcards using old propaganda artwork and funny English captions. Ironically, the museum is next door to McDonalds, across from Benneton and adjascent to a casino.

The Train To Vienna ...
I had about 2000 Czech Crowns to spend ($30) before we left the country. We had only about 15 minutes until our train left, so I got us a bottle of Becherovka (the Czech equivalent of Southern Comfort) for 700 Kc. We had 1,300 Kc left to spend, so we got food - a couple of sandwiches and bags of chips. We still had 800 Kc left, so I started grabbing cans of Czech beer - it's really good beer. It's also very inexpensive - a liter of Coke costs about $5 while a liter of beer costs about $1. We would up with one bag full of food and another bag full of beer and we still had 200Kc left over.
We got on the train and it was REALLY hot - the sun was shining in and the air conditioning wasn't working. We were in a brand new, No Smoking first class car with uncomfortable, ergonomic seats. After a few minutes, I walked down to the Smoking Car - it had 6 person compartments with air conditioning. To ensure that we got the car all to ourselves, we took off our shoes, scattered baggage all over the compartment, prominently placed our empty beer cans on the table then sprawled across the seats.
Our "decorations" worked - nobody tried to come sit in our car and we had it all to ourselves from Prague to Vienna.
