Hobbit in Vienna
Vienna accomodations are much better. We toured another Hapsburg palace. The first hour of the palace is the crockery and dishes. Wendell was in heaven.
When you fly first class or take a first class train, you get to use the first class lounge. This is much better than the normal lounge, The chairs are nice, they give you free food and drinks.

Hobbit Is Very Tired
The overnight train cabins have two seats which, in the evening, the attendant converts into a lower bunk. If a second bunk is required, the attendant pulls it out from its hiding place in the wall. I got us an upgrade to a first class cabin on the train from Vienna to Venice. The compartment was much larger than the second class compartment we had used before, and the luggage rack was huge.
When we got into our cabin, the lower bunk had been made up, but the upper bunk was still tucked into the wall. The attendant had put the extra blanket and pillow into the luggage rack above.
After a long day touring Vienna, Hobbit was really tired. As soon as we got into our cabin, Hobbit looked at the lower bunk and the luggage rack and said, "The upper bunk is pretty small - do you want to take the lower bunk and I'll take the upper?"
Barely able to keep from laughing, I said, "OK. Do you need help getting up there?"
Hobbit climbed up into the luggage rack and I snapped this photo as she started getting tucked in. After I snapped the photo, I explained that there was really a full-sized second bunk and all we needed to do was ask the attendant to lower it for us. Hobbit was greatly relieved that she wasn't going to have to sleep in the luggage rack.
