Central Park

We started our morning with a Hilary guided jog through Central Park - it was WAY fun. After that, we cleaned up and Hobbit and I went and did some Greenwich Village Tourism, grabbed food, and returned to the apartment to find our limosine waiting to take us to the airport. The limo was about the same price as taking a cab to the airport.

Stonewall Statues

These statues are in a park on Christopher Street and commemorate the Stonewall Riots and the first gay pride marches.

Wendell Inside Caffe Reggio

Caffe Reggio is a famous coffee house in Greenwich Village. It got used in a number of '60s movies, including The French Connection and Shaft. I'm sitting in the seat that Richard Roundtree sat in during the scene where Shaft meets with the Italian Mafia hitman.

Airport Delays

We arrived, checked in, made it through security, then planted our backsides in the cushy chairs in the first class lounge and waited for our flight to be called.
Five hours later, we landed in Sea Tac, only to have to wait an hour and a half for our luggage to be disgorged onto the baggage conveyor.
